ESIA Forum at Intersolar

The ESIA Forum 2023 is happening on June 14th at the International Congress Center, Messe München, Munich, into the theme of Solar Manufacturing in Europe.
Esteemed speakers and industry leaders, will share insights and discuss the progress, challenges, and solutions in scaling up European PV manufacturing. The event will take place at Intersolar Europe, the largest solar PV event in Europe. AGENDA:

11:00h – 12:30h | Solar Manufacturing in Europe – Ready for the Solar Renaissance?
Built on the base of the European Commission’s EU Solar Energy Strategy, the European Solar Photovoltaic Industry Alliance (ESIA) ‘aims to build resilience and strategic autonomy for Europe’s solar PV value chain by scaling up European PV manufacturing of competitive, innovative and sustainable products.’ The first ESIA forum will have two sessions with the first part, a High-Level Political Forum discussing the state of solar manufacturing in Europe, and the second part presenting the progress achieved and discussing the bottlenecks and solutions.
The session will discuss:

  • Is the EU on track to reach its target of 30 GW capacity along the value chain by 2025?
  • Main barriers to create notable European PV manufacturing industry
  • Support measures for European PV manufacturing
