“We at Solarge are seeing a very large demand for lightweight solar modules. The production plant in Weert in The Netherlands which will be extended to 400 MW in 2024, is a first step in our ambition to complete several factories in Europe based on our composite polymer lightweight product. We are searching partners who have similar ambitions and want to cooperate with Solarge under licensing.”
Gerard de LeedeChief Technology Officer
Solarge introduces an innovative, eco-friendly composite solar module, crafted with PERC solar cells, that is both lightweight and fully circular, eliminating PFAS materials. This cutting-edge module offers rigidity similar to glass-based modules, making it easy to clamp securely. Developed in a exclusive partnership with SABIC, it has earned the prestigious IEC certification, ensuring top-notch quality and performance.
The production of this groundbreaking product is set to commence in the summer of 2023. Anticipating strong demand, Solarage has already planned an expansion to reach a capacity of 400 MW by the end of 2024.
